Shipping policy
SHIPPING POLICY – INTERCLEAN CHEM
At INTERCLEAN CHEM, we aim to get your order to you safely and as quickly as possible. Please read this Shipping Policy carefully for details on delivery areas, timeframes, and what to do if there's a problem with your parcel.
1. Delivery Areas
We deliver nationwide by courier across South Africa. Please note that deliveries to remote or outlying areas may take longer to arrive and may incur additional delivery costs.
2. Processing Time
Orders are processed within 1 business days after payment has been confirmed. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
3. Delivery Times
Once your order has been dispatched, estimated delivery times are as follows:
- Main centers (e.g. Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban): 1–3 business days
- Regional and outlying areas: 3–7 business days
Please note that these timeframes are estimates only. INTERCLEAN CHEM is not responsible for delays caused by the courier, adverse weather, strike action, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
4. Shipping Costs
Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location and the weight of your order.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, we will email/SMS you a tracking number so that you can follow your parcel's progress via our courier partner's website.
6. Receiving Your Order
Someone must be available at the delivery address to receive and sign for the parcel. Please ensure you provide a complete and accurate address, along with a working contact number. If the courier is unable to deliver due to an incorrect address or nobody being available to receive the parcel, redelivery costs may apply.
7. Damaged or Leaking Parcels
Please inspect your parcel as soon as it arrives. If it appears damaged or is leaking, please note this with the courier where possible, take clear photographs, and contact us within 6 hours at sales@intercleanchem.co.za. We will arrange a replacement or refund, depending on the circumstances.
For your safety, please do not handle leaking containers without wearing appropriate gloves.
8. Hazardous Products
Certain chemical products must be packed and transported in accordance with special safety regulations. As a result, some items may take longer to deliver, or may not be available for delivery to certain areas. If this affects your order, we will contact you directly to advise on the best way forward.
9. Collection
Collection is available strictly by prior arrangement only. If you would like to collect your order directly, please contact us before placing your order or immediately afterwards to confirm availability. Should collection be approved, we will advise you and notify you by email or phone once your order is ready for collection.
